Ruffwear’s Harness (girth sizing) chart lists chest girths from 23cm to 107cm across 7 sizes. Starts smaller than most, so it reaches dogs other brands cannot fit.

Ruffwear publish this one chart for their harnesses generally, so this size holds whichever of their harnesses you buy — their words. One exception: The Front Range harness is sold in a combined L/XL that covers 81–107 cm, so a Ruffwear L or XL from this chart is the Front Range L/XL.
What Ruffwear calls the same dog other brands would
Letter sizes do not travel between brands. For a chest measurement of 65cm, the finder recommends Ruffwear S using chest girth alone. The same measurement gives these chart results:

These recommendations use chest girth alone. The size finder also considers published weight guidance when you supply weight. If you already know your dog’s Ruffwear size and want it at every other brand, convert it directly — the tool opens on Ruffwear and reads out every size that overlaps.
Where the size ranges meet
The size bands meet at shared endpoints: XXXS / XXS at 33cm; XXS / XS at 43cm; XS / S at 56cm; S / M at 69cm; M / L at 81cm; L / XL at 91cm. At each of these exact measurements, both named sizes cover the chest.
Near the bottom of a size’s range, the straps run close to their tightest; near the top there is little adjustment left. The size finder shows that position and every covering alternative.
