Kurgo harness sizing
Kurgo’s Tru-Fit Smart Harness chart lists chest girths from 30cm to 112cm across 5 sizes. Starts smaller than most, so it reaches dogs other brands cannot fit. It also uses wide size bands, so a single size covers a lot of dogs and adjustment matters more.

What Kurgo calls the same dog other brands would
Letter sizes do not travel between brands. For a chest measurement of 71cm, the finder recommends Kurgo Large using chest girth alone. Also covered by: Medium, X-Large. The same measurement gives these chart results:

- Top Paw — gap in the published chart. 71cm falls in a gap in Top Paw's chart, between Medium (up to 68.6cm) and Large (from 71.1cm). Re-measure first — a reading this close is often a little off. If it holds, the Medium would be at its loosest and the Large at its tightest.
These recommendations use chest girth alone. The size finder also considers published weight guidance when you supply weight. If you already know your dog’s Kurgo size and want it at every other brand, convert it directly — the tool opens on Kurgo and reads out every size that overlaps.
Where the size ranges meet
Kurgo has overlapping size bands. For example, X-Small and Small both cover 41–44cm. The finder recommends the most central match by chest girth and keeps the other covering sizes visible; published weight guidance can help choose when weight is supplied.
Some size pairs also share a single endpoint: Medium / X-Large at 71cm. At each of these exact measurements, both named sizes cover the chest.
Near the bottom of a size’s range, the straps run close to their tightest; near the top there is little adjustment left. The size finder shows that position and every covering alternative.
